Job Summary

The CT Technologist will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities
  • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body
  • Position patients to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures
  • Administer contrast media as required
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and imaging procedures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid NYS DOH Radiography license
  • 2 years of experience in computed tomography
  • Cardiac CTA experience
  • Injection Certification not required
Work Environment

This is a full-time position working every other weekend. You will be required to wear gray/pewter scrubs and work in a busy 300-bed Level II trauma center.
