Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and Assist Customers
    • Provide a warm and welcoming greeting to every customer
    • Assist customers with finding products and answering questions
    • Offer recommendations and suggestions to enhance the customer's shopping experience
  • Process Transactions
    • Operate the point of sale (POS) system with accuracy and efficiency
    • Process customer refunds and exchanges according to established guidelines
    • Open and close registers as needed
  • Maintain a Clean and Organized Store Environment
    • Restock shelves and merchandise as needed
    • Keep the sales floor and backroom areas clean and organized
    • Ensure that all products are properly tagged and displayed
  • Meet Sales and Customer Service Goals
    • Meet or exceed sales targets and customer service metrics
    • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Previous customer service or sales experience preferred
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
    • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a POS system
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to stand for long periods of time and move around the store
    • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and bend, stoop, and reach as needed
