We are seeking a qualified Physics Adjunct Faculty to teach students effectively in assigned classes and maintain office hours for student consultation.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver engaging course materials and assessments to promote student learning and success.
- Provide individualized support and guidance to students, including office hours and online support.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of curriculum and instructional strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience and promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Master's degree or higher in Physics or a related field, with at least 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and administrators.
- Ability to use technology to facilitate learning and communicate with students and colleagues.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a focus on creating a welcoming and inclusive learning environment.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills.
- Experience teaching online or hybrid courses.
- Knowledge of educational technology and instructional design principles.
