Patient Care Technician

DaVita is seeking a Patient Care Technician to provide exceptional care to our patients with end-stage renal disease. As a PCT, you will work under the supervision of a RN to provide direct patient care, monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, and educate patients on kidney dialysis-related topics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
- Monitor patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and oxygen saturation
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Provide education to patients on kidney dialysis-related topics
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Desire to enter the healthcare field to care for others
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
