Job Details

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join their team for a 13-week travel assignment in Chicago, Illinois.

As a Surgical Technologist with Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care. Your skills and expertise will be valued and utilized to ensure the highest level of quality and safety in the operating room.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain the operating room and equipment for surgical procedures.
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain patient safety and well-being during procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and technologies.
Requirements
  • One to three years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist.
  • Other certifications may be required for this position.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and use a computer.
  • Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending.
