Responsibilities
Utilize evidence-based medical practices to deliver patient care
Collaborate with our healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Provide education and support to patients and their families
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
Master's or Doctorate degree as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant medicine or Health Sciences
Current certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Acute Care Clinical Nurse Specialist by either AACN or ANCC
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) / Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification from the American Heart Association
Eligible for Prescriptive Authority in the state of practice as outlined by the State Board of Nursing or Medical Examiners
Preferred Qualifications
3 years' related working experience
National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certified
Work Environment
This role requires working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and may involve exposure to blood, body fluids, and tissue. The incumbent must be able to stand for prolonged periods, stoop, bend, reach, and grab with arms and hands. Reliable transportation is required as the incumbent may need to travel throughout and between facilities.
