Position Overview:

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) plays a crucial role in overseeing the financial and operational strategies of the district. This leadership position is responsible for ensuring that all financial activities are conducted in a legally compliant and effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management and investment of district funds, ensuring their security and optimal use.
  • Act as a financial advisor to the superintendent and board of trustees, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Direct and manage the district's business operations, including accounting, payroll, purchasing, and data management.

Qualifications:

Special Knowledge/Skills:

  • In-depth understanding of educational finance, budgeting, and accounting systems.
  • Proficient in data processing systems and financial software applications.
  • Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and conflict resolution.

Experience:
