- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams as needed.
- Participate in admission, discharge, and transfer procedures, ensuring seamless patient care transitions.
- Document patient care in all assigned records, maintaining accurate and confidential information.
- Adhere to infection control, isolation procedures, and aseptic techniques in delivering patient care.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; graduation from a Licensed Vocational Nurse Program and current licensure/permit as a vocational nurse in the State of Texas.
- Current BLS-HP certification required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced correctional environment, prioritizing patient care and safety.
