Academic Dentist

Job Summary:

Lyon College School of Dental Medicine seeks a highly qualified academic dentist to join our faculty as a professor of general dentistry. This is a full-time position that will involve teaching, research, and service.

Responsibilities:

• Teach general dentistry courses at the preclinical and clinical levels
• Supervise DMD students in simulation and live patient care activities
• Contribute to the development of curriculum and assessment methods
• Participate in departmental and college-wide service activities

Requirements:

• Dental degree from a CODA-accredited US or Canadian dental school or equivalent
• Eligibility for licensure in Arkansas at the time of application and an active license at the time of hire
• Minimum of five years clinical experience preferred
• Teaching experience at the pre-doctoral level preferred
