Job Summary

Ascension Wisconsin is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Ascension All Saints, Spring Street Campus in Racine & Franklin, WI. As a LPN, you will provide care to patients under the direction of a registered nurse or physician, functioning within the scope of your license.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the assessment of patients and ensure the well-being of patients.
• Administer medications and observe patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments.
• Perform laboratory tests and therapeutic services.
• Educate patients/families about disease treatment plans, including self-care post-discharge, holistic health needs, available resources, and follow-up care.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of sterile procedure setup experience preferred.
• Dermatology experience preferred.
