We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead RN Med Surg to join our team at Carondelet St. Marys Hospital. As a Clinical Lead, you will play a vital role in coordinating patient care, unit activities, and staff performance on an assigned shift.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supports and evaluates patient care and unit needs during assigned shifts
  • Makes assignments for staff to meet patient care needs and for incoming patients
  • Monitors effectiveness and completion of unit assignments
  • Evaluates staffing by considering mix of caregivers, patient volumes, and staff availability
  • Communicates effectively with team members and others
  • Participates in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety efforts
  • Provides coaching and support for nursing associates
  • Troubleshoots issues and keeps nurse manager/director informed
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Valid current Arizona Nursing License
  • Required certifications in area of clinical specialty within 3 years
  • Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
