Overview:


Element Materials Technology is seeking a Project Operations Specialist to manage the entry of incoming test requests and execute various scheduled tasks under the guidance of the Office Manager or established protocols.

Conduct a thorough technical assessment of client purchase orders to ensure adherence to compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Handle incoming shipments and assist customers with the collection and return of samples

Confirm that received orders are accompanied by all necessary documentation to facilitate accurate testing of samples

Communicate with clients regarding purchase order discrepancies or to gather additional testing information

Act as a liaison for clients, providing updates on order statuses

Distribute processed samples/materials to the appropriate departments for further handling

Collaborate with Production and Laboratory teams to expedite workflow

Ensure compliance with subcontracting requirements and generate necessary documentation upon request

Notify staff to prioritize urgent tasks and follow up on outstanding issues

Promptly address revised purchase orders for ongoing work by updating the system and informing the relevant department supervisor

Engage with internal teams regarding inquiries or issues related to specific projects

Assist in the coordination of production, quality assurance, and process enhancements

Ensure all tasks are performed in accordance with company safety and quality standards, as well as regulatory agency guidelines

Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisors or laboratory management

Skills / Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates must effectively perform each essential duty

A Bachelor's degree or a related technical field is preferred

Completion of a two-year technical program or a comparable combination of education and experience is preferred

Relevant experience in logistics, customer service, or a materials testing/manufacturing environment is desirable

This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3), or U.S. Government export authorization is required.
