Position Overview:
We are looking for an Ecological Consultant with a minimum of one year of relevant experience to join our team. This role will be based in our Environmental Permitting and Compliance Division and will focus primarily on fieldwork related to wetland delineation, along with the associated GIS mapping and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in wetland delineation fieldwork, including GPS data collection and environmental data gathering.
- Assist in the development and analysis of Wetland GIS Maps and other mapping documents necessary for permit submissions.
- Conduct SWPPP inspections and oversee environmental monitoring during ongoing construction activities. A current 4-hour Erosion and Sediment Control inspector certification is advantageous.
- Support Phase I Environmental Site Assessments.
- Gather, review, and analyze historical, regulatory, and municipal documentation.
- Independently manage projects and adhere to timelines for deliverables.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in creating and interpreting GIS mapping.
- Flexibility to engage in various project types.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with effective time management abilities.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is between $45,000 and $65,000 annually. The final salary offered will depend on factors such as the candidate's experience, education, and job location.
