Cardiac Telemetry Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Telemetry Nurse to join our team at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. As a Cardiac Telemetry Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our cardiac unit.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage patients with cardiac conditions, including arrhythmias and heart failure
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Provide education and support to patients and families to promote self-care and independence
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Current Oregon Registered Nurse License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of hire
  • 1 year of experience in a cardiac or telemetry setting
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1 or more years of experience in inpatient RN in Cardiology, a step-down unit, IMCU, or critical care
