Position Overview:

We are excited to announce an opening for a Rehabilitation Specialist at Kaiser Permanente. In this role, you will play a crucial part in addressing the rehabilitation needs of patients, working under the guidance of the Director, Assistant Director, and/or Clinical Supervisor.

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify the level of impairment and create tailored rehabilitation strategies.
  • Implement clinical evaluations to measure motor functions, strength, coordination, and other relevant skills.
  • Administer therapeutic modalities, design exercise regimens, and supervise patient rehabilitation.
  • Ensure ongoing professional development and regularly evaluate patient progress throughout the rehabilitation journey.
  • Engage with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to formulate treatment plans and facilitate discharge processes.
  • Educate patients and their families while adhering to established policies and procedures.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program.
  • Valid Physical Therapist License in California.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support.
  • Possession of a National Provider Identifier.

Preferred Skills:
  • Ability to thrive in a Labor/Management Partnership setting.
  • For applicants with a California PT License, successful completion of the licensing examination is required within a specified timeframe.
