We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Nurse Tech to join our team at Confluence Health. As a Nurse Tech, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide basic patient care, including vital sign measurements, hygiene needs, and elimination assistance.
- Assist patients with meals, feeding, and hydration needs.
- Collect and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.
- Perform Point of Care testing, including Guaiac of stool specimens, urine dipstick, and Glucose fingerstick.
- Assist with routine specialized procedures, such as peripheral IV insertion/removal, urinary catheterization, and sterile dressing changes.
- Transport patients safely and efficiently.
- Document patient information accurately and timely.
- Adhere to Confluence Health policies and unit standards.
- Nursing Technician License (NTEC) through Washington State DOH.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program.
- Current BLS certification.
- Basic computer skills related to Windows navigation, mouse usage, keyboarding, email communication, and password management.
- Recent work experience in Emergency Medicine, acute care, or related field.
- Current CNA, MA-P, or MA-C certification.
