Job Description
At Oscar Health, we're seeking a skilled Claims Production Team Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Claims Production team, you will be responsible for driving performance, effectiveness, and operational improvements to daily workflows and strategies.

In this role, you will manage the success of multiple Claims Production teams by guiding metrics, coaching direct reports, and serving as a central communicator. You will also be responsible for managing the daily needs of your team, including hiring, training, inventory levels, and scheduling to ensure an efficient operation. Additionally, you will need to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

To succeed in this role, you will need 3+ years of direct experience leading and supporting a claims operations area (production, adjustments, disputes, reconsiderations), 3+ years of medical claims processing experience, and 2+ years reading and using claims data to identify trends; including inventory management. Bonus points will be given if you have prior health plan experience in other operational domains such as configuration, provider services or member services, experience with claims payment and recoupment processes, and strong proficiency navigating Google Office Suite, Excel, JIRA, and SQL.
