Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform all housekeeping activities, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, laundry, shampooing carpets, scrubbing bathrooms, cleaning counters, and taking out the trash.
  • Restock common area bistro's and bathrooms, resident rooms and bathrooms with paper products and hand soap.
  • Follow detailed cleaning worksheets and checklists for each room and common area.
  • Set up and mix cleaning solutions according to specifications.
  • Clean community common areas and resident rooms, including floors, walls, and windows.
  • Steam clean or shampoo carpets.
  • Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
  • Make adjustments to heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
  • Gather and empty trash.
  • Remove debris from outdoor porches, parking lots, and dumpster areas.
  • Ensure all bathrooms are stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, and liquid soap.
  • Replace light bulbs throughout the community.
  • Notify supervisors of maintenance needs.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • One year of job-related experience.
  • Understanding of infection control procedures.
  • Ability to multitask and manage stress.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
