Production Line Technician

Aegis Worldwide is seeking an experienced Extrusion Machine Operator to join our team in Des Plaines, IL. The successful candidate will have a strong background in plastic extrusion and be able to effectively manage production from start to finish.
The estimated hourly wage for this position is $29-$39, depending on experience.
Main Responsibilities:
- Operate extrusion machines safely and efficiently to produce high-quality products.
- Monitor production and quality control measures to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to machine operation.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve production goals and improve overall efficiency.
Requirements and Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience working with plastic extrusion machinery.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience with quality control measures and record-keeping.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
