Pet Care Specialist Lead

The Pet Care Specialist Lead plays a vital role in supporting the veterinary team at Banfield Pet Hospital. This position requires a highly skilled and compassionate individual who is dedicated to delivering exceptional care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians in performing procedures that do not require their assistance.
- Prepare preparatory work for other procedures and ensure a smooth workflow.
- Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventive care, and pet health needs.
- Obtain relevant information and history from clients and maintain proper medical charts.
Requirements:
- Certificate of completion from a NAVTA approved Veterinary Assistant program or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- At least 18 years old to perform duties involving radiography (x-ray) and exposure to radioactive substances.
- One year related experience required with customer service preferred.
Compensation:
$45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience.
