Job Position: Forklift Operator

Location: New Albany, MS

Pay Rate: $13.40/hr.

Shift: 2nd, Monday - Friday, 6:15pm-3:30am

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at Diverse Staffing. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring safety and quality rules are followed, maintaining a clean work area, and operating an industrial forklift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Safety & Quality Rules are always followed.
  • Ensure the work area is free and clean from debris.
  • Properly package and handle parts as prescribed.
  • Must be able to operate an industrial forklift, 6+ month of experience required.
  • Accurately record scrap and place the scrap in the proper location.
  • Understanding of the product, knowing the function of the product, and any potential product defects that can adversely affect the function, application, or overall quality of the product.
  • Keep accurate documentation during the production run.
  • Inspect parts during the production run.
  • Always keep the workstation clean and tidy by utilizing 5S procedures.
  • Perform other duties as requested.
