As a Pharmacy Technician in Training at Catholic Health Initiatives, you will play a vital role in assisting our Pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications to our patients. Key Responsibilities

Prepare, fill, and distribute unit-dose drugs and perform medication exchange with nursing units.

Assist in the preparation of sterile intravenous admixtures under pharmacist supervision.

Maintain prescription files, answer phones, and triage calls.

Maintain adequate levels of drugs and record order-book items that fall below minimum level.

Assist the pharmacist in all aspects of daily departmental activities.

Requirements

High School graduate or GED required.

Enrollment in an American Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists accredited academic program or an American Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists accredited on-the-job training program.

Licensed as a ND Pharmacy Technician in training as required by the ND State Board of Pharmacy. Within 24 months of hire, must complete training program approved by the board of pharmacy and Certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
