Epic Clinical Analyst

We are looking for several Epic Analysts to engage in a significant implementation project. We aim to recruit full-time Analysts with experience in EPIC systems, particularly in the following areas (certifications are highly valued but not mandatory): Beacon, Cupid, Hospital Billing, Beaker, and HIM.
This opportunity is with a large hospital that boasts a 90% retention rate among its Epic team, which was established five years ago. Key Responsibilities of the Epic Analyst:
- Serve as the main support contact for designated Epic applications.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues within the assigned application, collaborating with other teams to address cross-functional challenges, and utilize a ticket management system to document troubleshooting efforts.
- Guide the design of workflows, oversee the building and testing of the system, and troubleshoot technical issues related to Epic software.
- Communicate all application changes, enhancements, and procedures to other Epic application teams.
- Maintain regular communication with Epic representatives to ensure alignment and track project progress.
- Collaborate with Epic representatives, internal business partners, and end users to ensure the system aligns with the organization's operational needs.
- Assist in developing business and operational strategies by participating in site visits, workflow sessions, and other integrated meetings.
- May also contribute to the development of end-user training processes and curriculum content in partnership with the Education team.
- Regularly review project status, timelines, and issues with Team Lead and Management, fostering transparent communication and timely resolution of concerns.
- In conjunction with operational Subject Matter Experts, build application-specific workflows or processes for various departments.
- Conduct comprehensive testing cycles, including upgrade, unit, functional, and integration testing.
- Lead initiatives for system enhancements, including the introduction of new features, system upgrades, and optimization projects, ensuring that system development aligns with user needs and adheres to industry standards.
- Adhere to change management protocols for all application modifications.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications for Epic Analyst:
- A high school diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Current Epic Certification(s)/Accreditation(s) in any of the following areas: Beacon, Cupid, Hospital Billing, Beaker, HIM.
- A minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare-related clinical environment.
- Practical knowledge of patient care service processes in an acute care facility or ambulatory office practice.
- Experience in electronic health record systems analysis, design, and implementation.
- Proficiency in Epic application implementation, troubleshooting, testing, and support.
