We are seeking a skilled Guitar Technician to join our team at Guitar Center. As a key member of our store staff, you will provide exceptional service to customers by repairing and maintaining their instruments, ensuring they receive the best possible experience.

Job Summary

Job Responsibilities
  • Repair and maintain customer-owned instruments to the highest standards
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally
  • Maintain store-owned gear, as requested, to ensure it remains in optimal working condition
  • Complete warranty repair work, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and procedures
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support the smooth operation of the store
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong foundation in guitar repair techniques, including setup, adjustment, and maintenance
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with customers and colleagues
  • A basic understanding of sales techniques and product knowledge, with a willingness to learn and develop further
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve issues efficiently
