Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Assembly and Finishing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently unpackaging customer parts and placing them according to product specification on work racks.
Key Responsibilities- Load, unload, and package customer parts per the work order.
- Ensure all customer product and tooling is handled properly to avoid damage.
- Monitor all equipment to ensure they are performing and calibrated properly.
- Visually inspect product prior to loading/unloading while notifying the Team Leader/Supervisor of any non-conformances.
- Record necessary racking and un-racking information on work order.
- Work safely at all times and comply with all safety regulations while working with Hazardous materials and chemicals.
- Maintain equipment, and work area in a clean and organized manner.
- Work with a positive attitude and report all questions or problems to the Team Leader or Supervisor.
- Perform other miscellaneous job duties and related functions as needed.
The following hazards are associated with this job:
- Repetitive lifting up to 55 lbs. unassisted.
- Sharp parts, sharp tooling, heavy carts, occasional hot and cold temperature and humidity levels, heat from ovens, moderate noise levels, limited hand and air tool use, compressed air (must use hearing protection).
- Must be able to differentiate between color variance.
- Potential splash exposure near process lines.
- Responsibilities are repetitive in nature.
- Various chemicals used in process.
