Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Therapist to join our team at Applewood Centers. As a Clinical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing in-home assessment, treatment, case management, crisis intervention, and advocacy to adolescents and families.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide MST services to a small caseload of youth and families in community settings, including clients' homes, schools, and neighborhoods.
  • Actively work to ensure client, victim, and community safety through the development, implementation, monitoring, and ongoing revision of a comprehensive individualized safety plan for each client/family served.
  • Engage primary caregiver and other key participants in active change-oriented treatment by identifying and overcoming barriers to engagement.
  • Actively provide family therapy, parent training, cognitive behavioral therapy, skills building, school, and other community system interventions, and clarification work to each client/family served.
  • Conduct MST assessment, including review of referral information, identifying and engaging key participants, identifying systemic strengths and weaknesses, and developing an analysis of the fit of problem behaviors within the ecological context.
  • Actively participate in weekly group supervision and weekly phone consultation; participate in individual supervision as directed/requested.
  • Maintain clear and concise documentation of treatment efforts that promote peer and supervisory review and feedback, and that demonstrate compliance with MST Principles and the MST Analytic Process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Level or higher professional with the major field of study being social work, psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or other human services field. New graduates welcome.
  • LSW, LPC, or MFT, and prior experience in the delivery of mental health services in the home/community to children and families with complex needs is essential.
  • This position requires flexibility of schedule and ability to travel in response to the needs of families.

Benefits:

  • Starting salary between $54,220-$60,220 (includes base salary and on-call/cell stipends) depending on degree and licensure.
  • MST Therapists also receive a first-year $2,000 sign-on bonus, second-year $4,000 retention bonus, and have the ability to earn an additional $3,000 plus per year in model adherence bonuses.
