Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Forest Home. As a key member of our Guest Dining Department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform dishwashing duties in accordance with sanitary requirements and department procedures.
  • Maintain the dish machines and dishwashing area to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Monitor and maintain trash levels in the kitchen and ensure the cleanliness of trash rooms.
  • Report any needed repairs to the supervisor and assist with basic food preparation as needed.
  • Assist with food deliveries and maintain coolers, warmers, and equipment.
  • Develop capabilities in basic food preparation and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Working towards a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid food handler's card or willingness to obtain one.
Qualifications
  • Ability to uphold and support the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Forest Home.
  • Capacity to hear from God and pray for people, both over the phone and in person.
  • Professional attitude and demeanor, with a commitment to regular, timely attendance.
  • Ability to perform high-quality, detailed work and seek to develop capabilities in basic food preparation.
  • Good people service skills, with the ability to provide service and streamline processes without compromising the integrity of the department or Forest Home and its policies and procedures.
Work Environment

The work environment involves moderate exposure to unusual elements such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and unpleasant odors. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud at times.
