Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Line Cook to join our team at Brundage Mountain Company. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for supervising and assigning duties to staff, ensuring the efficient operation of the kitchen, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and assign duties to staff, ensuring duties are carried out effectively and efficiently.
  • Perform as a working supervisor, cooking and preparing all menu items in accordance with standards set by the Food and Beverage Director.
  • Assist in creating prep sheets for staff and ensure they are completed in a timely manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with menu items and food allergies associated with menu items.
  • Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food on the line.
  • Prepare and portion food prior to service.
  • Ensure food poisoning and contamination are controlled through food monitoring and distribution.
  • Have a good knowledge of principles of quantity food preparation, portion control, and meal service.
  • Have a good knowledge of proper methods of handling and storing food.
  • Inspect and report faulty equipment to senior personnel.
  • Carry out on-the-job training and instruction for new staff.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
Requirements
  • Experience in full-service restaurant operations is desired, but we will train the right candidate.
  • Understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment.
  • Solid references.
  • Flexible schedule.
  • Task-driven individual.
  • Candidates should have professional kitchen experience, including working a hot line and grill.
Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $21 per hour, depending on experience. Part-time, full-time, full-time seasonal, and temporary positions are available, including weekends and holidays. Our hours of operation are 8am to 6pm, including holidays and weekends.
