Job Summary

As a SQL Database Administrator at Domino's Pizza Inc., you will be responsible for managing the Microsoft SQL Server environment, ensuring the highest levels of performance, availability, and security. This hybrid position requires 3 days of onsite work in Ann Arbor office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Microsoft SQL Server environment, including transactional systems and enterprise data warehouse environment.
  • Install, configure, administer, and maintain database servers and processes.
  • Monitor system health and performance, and refine and automate regular operational processes.
  • Implement new database technologies to improve performance and throughput.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities.
  • Setup and design backup and recovery solutions, according to disaster recovery scenarios.
  • Provide support for client applications and solve client issues.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field of study, and 3 years of database administration experience with SQL server platform.

Employer will also accept a Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field of study, and 2 years of database administration experience with SQL server platform in lieu of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 3 years of experience.

All experience must be post-Bachelor's.

2 years of hands-on production operations management experience with SQL Server 2016/2017; 2 years of operations and management experience with data warehouse or online transactional environments; 1 year of deployment and production operations experience with NoSQL and NewSQL platforms; database platform production operations experience with SQL Server; working on SQL Server AlwaysOn Availability Groups (AAG) and Distributed AAG (DAAG) setup and operations; managing operations of large databases (5-8TB); production operations management experience with managing Greenplum environment; production operations management experience managing NoSQL and NewSQL data platforms.

Hybrid position requiring 3 days weekly of onsite work in Ann Arbor office.
