Electronics Repair Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Repair Specialist to join our team at Ixana. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for performing micro soldering and PCB-level repairs on various electronic components and devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform micro soldering and PCB-level repairs on various electronic components and devices
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with circuit boards, PCBs, components, and connectors
  • Use specialized tools and equipment for fine soldering, desoldering, and component replacement
  • Conduct thorough testing and quality control checks to ensure proper functionality after repairs
  • Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, including detailed notes on diagnostics and repairs performed

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with micro soldering techniques and PCB-level electronics repair
  • Strong knowledge of electronics, PCBs, circuit boards, and electronic components
  • Ability to use microscopes and precision tools for detailed repair work
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues
  • Familiarity with industry-standard testing and diagnostic equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in electronics repair or a related field
  • Experience working with SMT (Surface Mount Technology) components

Location: The position is based in our West Lafayette, IN office.
