Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation services.
  • Coordinate care with members of the patient's treatment team to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Perform physical exams, health histories, and nursing assessments to identify patient needs.
  • Administer medications, wound care, injections, and other treatment interventions as needed.
  • Recognize and intervene in life-threatening emergencies, including the administration of emergency drugs and defibrillator use.
  • Provide patient and family health education based on assessed needs.
  • Adhere to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines and quality control methods.
Requirements
  • Associates degree in nursing.
  • 1 year of NICU experience.
