Position SummaryWe are in search of a skilled and compassionate Locum Physician to deliver exceptional medical care to patients on a temporary basis. This role provides a valuable opportunity to work within a collaborative and supportive environment, enabling you to concentrate on patient care without the burden of long-term commitments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and comfort in various healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive medical services to patients, encompassing diagnosis, treatment, and management of both acute and chronic health issues.
- Perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe suitable treatment plans.
- Oversee patient care in both inpatient and outpatient environments, tailored to the specialty.
- Work alongside other healthcare professionals, including nurses and specialists, to ensure coordinated and effective patient management.
- Maintain precise and current medical records in line with facility protocols and regulations.
- Participate in on-call duties as necessary, providing emergency care and consultations.
- Educate patients regarding preventive health strategies, treatment options, and lifestyle changes.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine.
- Valid medical license.
- DEA certification.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Demonstrated experience in Emergency Medicine, capable of managing a wide array of cases.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capacity to adapt to diverse work environments and efficiently manage patient care.
