Radiologic Technologist

As a key member of our healthcare team, the Radiologic Technologist plays a vital role in ensuring the highest quality patient care. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Obtain high-quality radiographs of patients in a timely manner, utilizing portable equipment as needed.
- Comply with radiation safety guidelines, utilizing Personal Protective Equipment and operating radiographic equipment safely and competently.
- Perform computer operations, including Meditech and PACS, to ensure accurate charges and verified physician orders.
- Provide professional and courteous patient care, preparing examination rooms and maintaining inventory of supplies.
- Assist the radiologist in administering medications, contrast agents, and other patient care services.
- Review exams for technical accuracy, completing verification processes in PACS.
- Collaborate with the Diagnostic Supervisor to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- Continuing education credits as mandated by the ARRT for licensure.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider.
