Bus Monitor

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Bus Monitor to supervise students while riding the bus and ensure their safe transportation to and from school.

• Supervise students on the bus and ensure their safety during transportation
• Assist students with safe boarding and follow wheelchair and seat restraint guidelines
• Exercise student management through communication and discipline according to school policy
• Report any difficulties or changes in students' needs to the supervisor
• Maintain positive relationships with other employees, parents, and the public

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to speak, read, and comprehend English
• Ability to maneuver effectively in a school bus and lift up to 30 pounds
• Ability to physically perform a front and back door bus evacuation and to perform CPR and first aid techniques on the ground or floor
• Ability to walk the equivalent of at least one mile daily
