We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Methodist Southlake Medical Center. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide evidence-based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing in accordance with physician orders and protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Stay current with industry developments and best practices through ongoing education and training.
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
- Current Basic Life Support certification.
- Current Advanced Cardio Life Support certification.
- NRP, Pediatric Advanced Life Support - must obtain within 1 year of hire.
- Currently licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by Texas Medical Board.
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
- At least 6 months respiratory care experience.
