Caregiver Assistant

5 Star Homecare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to provide exceptional in-home care services to our clients in Mullins, South Carolina.

• Assist clients with daily tasks, promoting their independence and providing physical and emotional support.
• Provide direct care, including assistance with personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication reminders, and transportation to appointments and activities.
• Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical or mental health to the appropriate medical professionals.
• Create a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping duties.
• Foster a positive and supportive relationship with clients and their families.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of daily care activities.
• Communicate effectively with the care team and follow care plans as directed.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a caregiving role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Compassionate and nurturing personality.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
