Job Overview

The Warehouse Parts Coordinator plays a crucial role in the logistics of parts management for the dealership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the receipt, shipment, and storage of parts in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Ensure the workspace and storage areas are maintained in an orderly and sanitary condition.
  • Operate dealership machinery, including forklifts, with safety and efficiency.
  • Deliver accurate parts to both internal and external clients promptly.
  • Inspect and confirm all incoming deliveries and associated documentation.
  • Assist in the loading, unloading, and relocation of parts as required.
  • Conduct inventory checks as instructed by the Parts Manager.
  • Foster positive and professional relationships with colleagues, management, and suppliers, emphasizing teamwork and exceptional customer service.
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned by management in a competent and professional manner.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies as outlined in the employee handbook.
  • Engage in company-sponsored training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain consistent and punctual attendance in line with departmental and company standards.
Work Environment

This position primarily operates in an office setting within the service and parts departments, with exposure to various weather conditions and potential hazards.

Physical Requirements

To successfully perform the essential functions of this role, the employee must be able to:

  • Stand, bend, and stoop continuously.
  • Lift or carry items weighing up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 100 lbs. occasionally.
  • Engage in walking, reaching, pushing, pulling, and fine motor skills.
  • Communicate effectively in moderate noise levels.
Position Details

This is a full-time role, with workdays scheduled from Monday to Friday, including potential overtime and weekend work as necessary.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a parts department or warehouse setting is preferred.
  • Strong customer service capabilities.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lift weights ranging from 50 lbs. to 100 lbs.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using personal computers.
