About the Role:

As a System Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting a secure MS Windows network environment, ensuring the integrity of sensitive information and systems.

You will work closely with IT staff, Program Managers, and customers to identify and resolve technical issues, implement security measures, and improve overall system performance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining and troubleshooting internet applications and protocols;

• Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as hardware upgrades, firmware updates, and system configuration changes;

• Managing data backups and ensuring timely storage of critical information;

• Collaborating with stakeholders to resolve technical issues and improve system performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field;

• 1-2 years of experience in system administration, network security, and troubleshooting;

• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy;

• Familiarity with network protocols, including TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, and SSL;

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team;

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to interact with diverse stakeholders;

• Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence Polygraph and obtain Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility;
