Job Overview

Position: Quality Assurance Inspector

Employment Type: Full-Time

Location: Onsite

Contract Duration: 12 months with potential for permanent placement

Compensation: $30 per hour

Shift Information:

Initial Training: Candidates will commence on the first shift and transition to the second shift post-training.

First Shift Hours: 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Second Shift Hours: 2:30 PM to 1:00 AM (Monday to Thursday, 10 hours daily, including a 30-minute unpaid break).

Work Schedule: 4-day workweek, 10 hours per day, resulting in a 3-day weekend.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of inspection experience.
  • Experience with microscope visual inspection (must be detailed in the resume).
  • Knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protocols.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Secret clearance is mandatory.
  • Proficient in utilizing inspection hand tools.
  • Ability to adhere to detailed work instructions.

Clearance Requirements:

Secret clearance is required; candidates must indicate their clearance status at the top of their resume. Hires will not commence work until at least an interim clearance is secured, although an active clearance from the outset is preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience within the Defense sector.
  • Familiarity with SAP Quality Module.
  • Knowledge of AS9100, Mil-STD-883, IPC-610 (electronics-PCBs), and J-STD-001 (active certification preferred for soldering).
  • Experience in a Clean Room setting.
  • Understanding of FOD (FAA's Foreign Object Debris program).
