POSITION OVERVIEW:

Your primary responsibility is to create a secure environment, provide emotional and social support, and address the physical needs and comfort of residents. Deliver direct care to residents as assigned, adhering to their care plans and directives from your Supervisor. Execute additional tasks as instructed by community representatives. Comply with all health, sanitation, and infection control protocols while maintaining the established standards of practice set by the community's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in good standing, compliant with state regulations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum age of 18 years (if 16, must be currently enrolled in high school).
  • Proficient in English with the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute both verbal and written directives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
  • Capability to collaborate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and community staff.
  • Knowledge of proper safety and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to work scheduled hours as required by the position.
  • No direct threat to the health and safety of others in the workplace.
Experience:
  • Prior experience in long-term care is preferred but not mandatory.
