We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Ascension St. Vincent's. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

• Operate MRI scanners to produce high-quality images of the body
• Prepare and position patients for examinations, ensuring accurate anatomic and technical parameters
• Perform patient pre-screening, scheduling, and education related to the examination
• Enter and monitor patient data, transfer images from disk to magnetic media, and develop film in an automatic processor
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines
• Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS
• Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly department

• BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date
• One or more of the following certifications: Cardiographic Tech, Radiologic Technologist (Sonography, MRI, Radiography), Medical Sonographer
• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience
