Role Summary and Qualifications

As a Surgical Care Registered Nurse, you will work in a high-acuity unit caring for diverse surgical patients, enhancing your expertise in post-operative care and nursing skills.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering direct patient care in accordance with the Registered Nurse Practice Act.
  • Utilizing effective communication techniques to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment.
  • Identifying patient-specific nursing needs and planning individualized care.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinating care that aligns with the hospital's mission and vision.

Qualifications for this role include:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current RN licensure or eligibility.
  • Preferred clinical experience of at least one year.
  • CPR certification.
