Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate commercial trucks to deliver both finished and raw food products.
  • Conduct cleaning, inspections, and maintenance of the vehicle.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify any defects.
  • Communicate maintenance needs to the Dispatcher and/or Maintenance team.
  • Secure customer signatures upon delivery of goods.
  • Maintain accurate driving logs and vehicle service records.
  • Stay in contact with dispatchers, customers, and maintenance personnel via radio or phone.
  • Refuel the vehicle as necessary.
  • Utilize chains for vehicle traction when required.
  • Sort and organize products based on description or SKU.
  • Complete trip envelopes according to instructions.

Job Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in commercial truck driving.
  • Possession of a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is mandatory.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Working Conditions:
  • Extended periods of sitting and driving.
  • Ability to drive for up to 11 hours consecutively.
  • Capability to push/pull up to 2000 pounds using a pallet jack.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly and 60 pounds occasionally.
  • Willingness to travel up to 90% of the time.
