About the Role

As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with Channel Personnel Services, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of rotating equipment at our client's facilities. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Rotating Equipment Maintenance (REM) program, ensuring compliance with company guidelines, codes, and governmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Establish and maintain effective relationships with maintenance, production, engineering, and other organizations to improve rotating equipment care and work practices.
  2. Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy for rotating equipment, including routine maintenance, predictive maintenance, and corrective maintenance.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize equipment upgrade and replacement projects.
  4. Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance personnel on rotating equipment repair and maintenance procedures.
  5. Develop and implement a vibration monitoring program to detect potential issues before they become major problems.
  6. Participate in regular audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • B.S. degree in mechanical engineering with 5+ years of experience in plant maintenance or plant engineering.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and rotating equipment design, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with vibration analysis and condition monitoring techniques.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary Range

$90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
