We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to join our team at Mercy. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of safe, quality, and cost-efficient care in our Med Surg and Outpatient Departments.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Chief Nursing Officer in the development and implementation of departmental goals and objectives.
- Ensure efficient utilization of available resources and meet productivity and/or financial goals.
- Meet customer service satisfaction goals and work collaboratively with other administrative personnel, physicians, and staff to enhance communication and improve processes.
- Recruit, train, and develop a team of competent staff members to provide high-quality patient care.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided and implement improvements as needed.
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current license in applicable State of practice for Registered Nurse.
- Minimum three years of nursing experience, with previous leadership/management experience preferred.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS Certification required within 90 days of hire.
