Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System - Pulaski. As a LPN in our Detox Unit, you will provide direct and indirect patient care, applying the nursing process to follow the plan of care for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care appropriate to the condition and needs of the patient.
  • Consult and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide care to patients.
  • Administer medications and treatments within the scope of practice for a licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Record patient care activities including assessment, reassessment, and ongoing treatment notes within the patient's medical record.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
  • Ability to provide patient and family education related to treatment, diagnosis, medications, discharge, and self-care.
