Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to enhance our Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine Center. This role is crucial in delivering exceptional patient care and achieving optimal outcomes in wound management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive patient care in an outpatient environment through thorough assessments and evaluations of wounds.
- Exhibit expertise in common wound types and adhere to established care standards.
- Conduct various treatments, including monitoring vital signs, blood glucose levels, and performing wound assessments.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Utilize effective interviewing and observational techniques to gather detailed patient and wound histories.
- Assess educational needs of patients and families, creating tailored learning plans to address those needs.
- Provide care that is appropriate for patients across all age groups, demonstrating knowledge of their unique developmental needs.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse license in good standing.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
- A minimum of two years of experience in acute care nursing.
- Experience in an outpatient care setting is preferred.
- Willingness to provide cross-coverage support between Wound Centers as necessary.
