We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our team at St. David's South Austin Medical Center. As a CVICU Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Direct, monitor, and evaluate the care delegated to non-licensed personnel on the team.
- Administer medications, complete treatments, and provide educational materials to patients and families.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines.
- 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
- Recent critical care experience preferred.
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) Certification preferred.
