Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT and x-ray exams on patients, coordinating patient flow, and ensuring quality control and quality assurance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT and x-ray exams on patients, adhering to radiation safety protocols and image wisely/image gently practices.
- Coordinate patient flow and activities to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
- Conduct quality control and quality assurance activities, including metrics and practices related to CT and x-ray.
- Perform venipuncture and IV/oral contrast administration to patients, as needed.
- Conduct patient assessments and use clinical judgment to ensure accurate diagnoses.
Requirements
- State of Connecticut license
- ARRT (CT, R) certification
- CPR certification
- B.S. degree preferred
- 2 years of CT experience, 2 years of x-ray experience, venipuncture and IV placement skills required
- Phlebotomy and EKG experience preferred
