Job Summary:

This is a 13-week travel assignment for a Interventional Radiology Technologist. The ideal candidate will have experience in Interventional Radiology and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including preparing patients for procedures, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as X-ray machines and fluoroscopy units, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical technologies and procedures to provide the best possible care for patients.
Requirements:
  • Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
