Job Summary:This is a 13-week travel assignment for a Interventional Radiology Technologist. The ideal candidate will have experience in Interventional Radiology and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including preparing patients for procedures, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities:- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Operate imaging equipment, such as X-ray machines and fluoroscopy units, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical technologies and procedures to provide the best possible care for patients.
- Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
